ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  • Largely responsible for the St. Luke’s VDI implementation for Windows 7 and Windows 10 using Citrix XenDesktop.
  • Switched imaging at St. Luke’s from MDT to SCCM and developed zero-touch imaging for the Windows XP to Windows 7 migration company-wide.

  • Setup and managed C3’s SCCM servers (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger)

  • Developed, managed, and maintained a web application for the real time monitoring of about 5000 computers using C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell, and MS SQL which was used by all functional groups at all C3 facilities
  • Instrumental in the successful startup of the C3 site in Twin Falls, ensuring all hardware and software were operational when the site went live
  • Developed, managed, and maintained the Dell Linux team website with a twelve week rolling stack rank for review purposes and maintained Linux troubleshooting documentation
  • Designed a series of queries against MS SQL and Oracle databases which would list all packages that RR Donnelley had paid duplicate postage for but were not required to pay the 3rd party carrier because of being late or misrouted packages saving the company thousands of dollars. This was used by all 28 facilities country-wide
  • Designed a menu system for the UNIX servers used to simplify routine but time consuming functions that users had to do on a regular basis
  • Redesigned the local branch UNIX server webpages to add additional information and give the status of the servers for monitoring purposes which was adapted company-wide
